Attn: N.C. Zuk Owners!

Does anyone that lives in N.C. or the east cost know how to get to Croatan? I know that it is near the beach.I have gone to the Central 4 Wheel Drive clubs web-page and it doesn't give good driving directions. If anyone has any info please let me know, thanks! A few of my friends and I are planing on going their next weekend and checking it out. Just want to see if it is a good place to go 4wheeling.

Thanks!

What direction are you coming from. Hwy 17 and 70 will both get you there. There is also Hofmann Forest, but I don't know anything about it.

Re: Attn: N.C. Zuk Owners!

I'm coming from Goldsboro N.C., its around hwy 70.

If anyone wants to come with us you are more then welcome!!! So far its 2 Samurais (One is a 86 and mine a 88.5) and my friends 88 K5 Blazer.
e-mail if you want to come, I know it just came up, but since I work at the Fire Dept. it is hard to get the Leave to take trips like this and to other places.
It is going to be the weekend of the 5th - the 7th of May.

Re: Attn: N.C. Zuk Owners!

Brian,
You can take Hwy 70 to Kinston, then take Hwy 58 to Maysville and stay on 58 to the Beach. Croatan is a big area so you will
have to let me know where you are going exactly. From Maysville to the beach on 58 is all considered part of Croatan. I live about
5 miles from the edge of Croatan on the Stella side which is close to Hwy 58 and I know some of the area on this side but have never
been wheeling in there. Let me know where yall are going or want to go and I will try to do a little research. I have my 87 raised and
have installed some 275/60's on it now. I am ready to stick her in the mud and find out what she'll do!!

Dennis, Hey that sounds cool!!! I'll e-mail ya and let ya know when we are going. I'm not sure if we are going next weekend, the Fire Dept. just put me into a Haz-Mat Tech. class and that will be hell for about a month!!! We might just go for one or two days or so. Goldsboro is not that far from their! E-mail me and we'll talk about it, Okay? [email protected]
Thanks for the directions!
