Steering moan

What exactly do I need to do to stop the steering from moaning as I turn the wheel back and forth. I am assuming that it just needs to be lubed, but I wondered if anyone might speed that process along for me. Thanks yall

Marcus

Re: Steering moan

When my Samurai was experiencing this problem, I stopped it by lubing the area where the steering shaft comes through the firewall under the hood. I just took some spray silicone and soaked the area down. I'm sure WD-40 or PB Blaster would also work. Hope this helps you problem.
