Alternator upgrade

I am looking to upgrade to a higher amp alternator on my stock Zuk because I am planning to add some lights and stuff and want the higher amps, which alternators work best for it? How hard ar they to adapt?

Re: Alternator upgrade

I instaled the 105amp from Petroworks. The kit comes with everything needed, (mounting bracket, belt, instructions) even the harness
to wire it up. Took about 1hr to remove the old one and install the new one. I also added a optima red top battery. Ive got a photo
on my web site. Look for the 105 amp alternator under the links.

Re: Alternator upgrade

$249.00 for that Petroworks kit seems a little pricey to me. I saw an article on how to make the bracket yourself, I just can't find it right now. I've also seen them being sold for $35. The alternator and other stuff could be sourced for cheaper than the Pesoworks kit I would amagine.
