Re: flipping rims

I heard of someone doing the same thing. I don't know if it works on the wheels with the holes, but it will make a difference on the wheels with the spokes. I have aluminum rims now, but I had to mount my spare tire backwards because the tire was to wide, didn't fit backwards, did forwards. The only problem I have heard of when doing it on your car is that the valve stems might hit the front brake caliper. You can always give it a try though. Hope this helps a little.

Re: flipping rims

Maybe you know this already. I might buy the Spidertrax wheel spacers so that my wheels will stick out more. They are only $105.00

Re: flipping rims

You Can turn around the stock (~1988.5 & older)wagon wheel-style rims (you'll have to weld/plug up the holes the valve stems come out of & drill new holes)
Much cheaper than spacers.

You can't turn around the factory wheels with the round holes (~1988.5 + up)
