ring pinion install

i am messing with my front diff gears might need to take it in but they are saying at least 4 days turn around time any coments on how this looks some of the pix are hard to see well drive side

Your pinion is to close and needs to be shimmed out a bit.

so you guys are saying the pinion needs to be closer to the ring gear i personally thought it was too close

scroll down a bit, but going by your pics, and the diagram, your pattern looks like the bottom pair to me personally.

when you got your pattern, did you just rotate the carrier around both ways, or rotate until the compound was meshed then rock it back and forth, with pressure, a few times.

I ask cause it looks a little weak, but it could be the picture, or maybe me cause I just awoke.

I agree with doug your patern is centerd land to root increase the Back lash aliitle and recheck I personally would run that one pic shows a center contact heel to toe and the other C side is aliitle deep but I realy dont see a prob
