1.8 sidekick motor

has anyone installed a 1.8 liter sidekick motor in a samurai? this motor has d.i.s. it seems to be a big motor. any thoughts or help would be great [img]images/graemlins/40BEER.gif[/img]

When I was gathering my options, I was told that the vendors have explored and discounted this as a viable swap due to the number of serious mods that need to be made...

Now that I have done a 16v OBDII compliant swap, I kind of wish I had held out for the 2.0 (and it's 37? extra ponies) since I still ended up with a body lift. After the countless mods I made to make the 1.6, the dash and fuel systems fit, the 1.8 couldn't have been much harder. I spent four months on it...
