Rocky Road Praises...they deserve it

PLEASE do not say anything negative in this post! I have always read the bashes that they take, well if they are going to take the bad, they deserve the good. I called to order a YJ conversion kit, the guy on the phone was very helpful. I told him what I wanted and I asked how long it would be. He responded "2 weeks". I asked him to be SURE, I want to know my worst case senario, again he said "2 weeks". They did not have any, the kit would take a week to get together and a week to ship it. I said o.k. and gave my info, that was on the 8th of this month. Well I come home today and there on my doorstep is this VERY heavy box.
I have not even opened the box, so I cannot comment on the kit. I just wanted to give someone the props that they deserve. Maybe they were listening to everyone and are trying hard to make us happy, because they did right by me and I appreciate it.

I've had good luck with RRO in the past. You did the correct thing. You asked if they had it in stock and when would it ship. You set the level of expectation on both parts and they delivered. Good job to both

Im Sure Glenn puled his head outta his arse, this board was really BASHING him, bad enough he just didnt visit anymore, credit should always be given where due, I think they make some very fine products and without a doubt I would love to buy from them, but there is always that qwerky fear of mishaps....I will stick with Brent and Tim and I have had great results from Roadless Gear as well...

Re: Rocky Road Praises...they deserve it

I have ordered through nearly every vendor and have been pleased every time. I was nervous about ordering from R.R. but I had a $200 credit for a Tracker tcase that I sent them. I very glad that it worked out and I will order from them again. SuperSammy, I just opened the box and EVERYTHING is it's own box and labeled. Every thing appears to be first class. That was not to negative, it was a very valid point.
I hope that I am equally impressed with the install aspect and fit of the product.

Nice to hear something positive about them for a change. They have some really neat products but I have always shyed away from them because of all the negativity. Maybe their on the right path now!

Re: Rocky Road Praises...they deserve it

I won an ebay auction with them for a set of sliders. He says they'll be shipped soon. I won't hold my breath, but I hope I do get them quick.

Re: Rocky Road Praises...they deserve it

I had excellent service with them.

I ordered from them despite the horror stories I'd read.

They were up front and honest with me prior to placing the order.

Kudos to RRO.
