Extended Shackles

Does anyone know if you can run a 30x9.50 tire with just a 2" extended shackle. And if you can do you have to put the 2" shackle on the rear springs also.

Thanks in advance

Re: Extended Shackles

We don't recommend going with anything larger than a p235 with a 2" shackle. Some guys would probably try to jam in a 30", but it will rub when you go offroad and most likely when you hit large dips in the road. Then you'd end up shreading your new tires. Not something most guys would choose to do.

We do have a 3.5" lifted shackle which could probably handle 30" tires. Don't sell too many of those though. Most folks stick with the more easily manageable 2" shackle.

You would have to put shackles on front and rear.
