That was very interesting. I wish they would give horsepower and torque specs for comparison.

Re: I\'d like to drop one of these into the Tracker...

Sorta reminds me of a vw flat opposed . I would like to see the specs too .The coolest engine I ever saw was a plastic small block chevy block with aluminum girders for strength with steel insets for the crank and steel sleeves for the cylinders .This was back in 91 ,when I was on college for autmotive thoery and design .It weighed somewhere around 60 lbs for the entire block .They had a running prototype on display .It had Aluminum heads and a plastic intake too . The whole engine (v-8) was supposed to weigh 225lbs . Now that would be a great sammi powerplant . Huge power and light weight . GM made it too , I wonder what they ever did with it ?

They're installing an in-house dyno.

We are currently installing our new engine dynamometer with thanks to Dyno Dynamics which will be operational around May. This computer controlled Dynamometer will be enclosed in a insulated controlled environment test room with a five gas exhaust analyser. The company will post test and emission figures in the near future.

Notice the size of the engine compared to the monitor. That's a 1.8L engine!

Somewhere on the site is says they estimate ~50% hp increase over a conventional engine of equal displacement.
