OT- A face only a mother could love!

Well last week we got a new addition to the family! A 1 1/2 year old English Bulldog named Maggie May. What a great, loveable dog. A guy I work with is getting seperated from his wife and neither of them would be able to keep the dog so I took her! She is a purebred with papers and she's not fixed so the wife and I are thinking about breeding her. Here are a few pics.

You got to do better than that! You can't tell us to look at the pictures and then not give us any. There are some people on this board that won't make it to work this morning because they were up all night trying to figure out how to get the picture to work.

If you show me your bulldog I'll show you mine.

If you havent already, I sugest you look into local clubs about that dog, about propper breeding, and see what goes into doing it and doing it RIGHT. Also make sure of the dogs temperment, as well as making sure the "stud" you use has the same non aggressive temperment, as a bad stud will effect the offspring. If you are gonna breed her stictly for money purposes, I personally dont think you should.

I had a Husky a while back, and I thought of doing the same, I looked into it, and decided I couldnt do it entirely properly, so I decided not to.

congrats on your new beast!

Before you start breeding the dog and making puppies, please remember this, found ironically while trying to get your own pictures from the same website:

pictures

make sure you click on the 'gone but not forgotten' link on the left. One of the many, that is.

Re: OT- A face only a mother could love!

Thanks for the advice. My wife and I are going to contact the person who has the stud for mating. I guess the guy wanted to breed maggie when she was with the previous owner. I know with a bulldog there is a little more work and vet care when breeding them. Artifical insemenation, c-section etc. I will look into the whole process before we even consider going through with it. For now I just enjoy having her as a pet!
