Anyone know about these seatcovers?

These seem like a pretty good deal if they're put together well. Anyone know about them or the seller?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33702

Would rather buy them off Ebay though..

IMHO Neoprene and sunlight don't mix! I would expect their life expectancy to be a few weeks. Sounds like a good idea though.

...next there'll be seatcover cream by Armour-All LOL.

Re: Anyone know about these seatcovers?

I ran the Wet Okole seat covers for about 5 years. When I installed Blazer seats I gave them to Jbird and he ran them for awhile. He gave them back to me when he installed MR2 seats. I revived a junker Zuk and put them in it and they're still in it today. They don't look perfect but they are tough in my opinion.

Re: Anyone know about these seatcovers?

am an avid scuba diver and my wet suits take alot of abuse from the sun and water/salt water too.. the neoprene will hold up fine in the sun, you may notice over time the material will fade but it doesnt break down. They make conditioners for them also so if you were worried about it you could get some from a local dive shop. As far as the price in my o2 alittle expensive considering I can have a complete wet suit made for less and it has alot more material and they are 6mm thick...

That's 2 for, 1 against! Rockrat, the auction is for both fronts and the rear seat...you must be a big dude

The Wet Okole covers sell for a lot more I think

AHA!
I checked their other auctions, these may be universal fit covers, not custom fit

Re: Anyone know about these seatcovers?

I'm not sure where y'all live but take one of your old wetsuits and leave it in the sun for a week or so. It'll begin to get sticky and eventually break down. Maybe the UV rays are stronger here? I've seen a set of WetOkle covers wear to crap in one season.
