Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

Well........that means 12. I can't remember if 12 or 14 is normal.

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

This is coming through on the "Check Engine" light on the dash. How do I stop that from flashing?

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

All GM products should flash code 12 when key is first turned on, try it some time on something else. This is normal.

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

This flashes it continuously once the key is turned on to the Accessory position (even without the engine running). It doesn't go off once the engine's running. It'll only go off when the ignition is turned off. I tried the little switch under the dash but if I flick it in the other direction, the "check engine" light stays on continuously.

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

12 is the "ok" code.
Disconnecting the battery for a little while should reset the ECM's memory.
Check to make sure the diagnostic plug does not have a jumper in it.

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

Chit, No bridge in the diagnostic plug. Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and it still blinks...

Is there more than one diagnostic plug? Also, is there a way to reset the ECM?

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

remove the fuse from the diagnostic fuse location in the fuse panel. it shouldnt blink at all then. the diagnostic location is a stand alone location on the left side of the fuse panel if i remember correctly but i could be wrong. check owners manual.

Re: EFI Samurai Error code...help?

Lower right hand corner of the fuse box is for a diagnostic connection. Remove the fuse, it will stop flashing.
