Re: max tire size

Try a SEARCH. If you are not locked then you could run 32-33, but it really depends on where you wheel and what your driving style is like. If you want serious durability, just swap in some yota axles I just had to make all the guys that run yota axles happy.

Re: max tire size

I think SkyHisamurai ran 44 swampers on his rig.
My opinion, 29~31" agressive tire (swamper).

Re: max tire size

Trail rig only of daily driver? it makes a difference. If a DD, do you want to be able to use 5th?
what engine with what, if any mods? extra HP can compensate a bit. Not as much as gears, but some.

How hard do you run? Some bust birfs stock, some get by on 33's. Depends on driving style.

You need to spell out particulars if you want answers that fit.

Re: max tire size

Sounds like a GREAT cantidate for the 1.6 litre 16 valve! Maybe toyota axles while you're there?
Shoot, why not 35's
78mpghpr's (sp?) samurai has 35's, 1.6 16v, toyota axles, and a 6:1 t-case, loves it!
