Over the spare tire rack?

Someone used to sell this type of rack. I looked through all my links and haven't been able to find it.

Anyone know if it is still being made/sold?

Thanks.

Re: Over the spare tire rack?

I think it was Tory Graham: Zuki4x4.com or something like that. RRO and Roadless Gear retailed it too. They stopped selling it about 2 years ago-don't know why. I don't know if there was a flaw in the design or just wasn't profitable enough.

Re: Over the spare tire rack?

Thanks for the replies... The GotZuk rack is the one! I did a search and found the install article on the Roadless Gear website but it isn't listed as a sale item anymore.

http://www.roadlessgear.com/html/tec...les/trailrack/

www.gotzuk.com isn't a valid site anymore. Out of business?

If anyone knows where I can find this rack or a similar one (new or used) I'd appreciate it.

Is this something that Rock 4X Fabrication is thinking about?

Re: Over the spare tire rack?

I couldn't get the "Suzuki/Jeep Tire Carrier" link to work. I'll check back later.

The over tire rack interested me for a couple reasons. Just in case I can interest anyone...

1 - The height off the road - wouldn't have to worry about dragging it.

2 - I was planning to weld a about 4 more hangers on it so I could hang 2 portable tree stands on it - the bottom of the stands would rest (or be strapped) on the tire and keep them from rattling around.

A square basket would be better (the GotZuk rack had rounded corners). The only drawback is getting the deer up over the tire by myself... nothing that can't be handled though.
