Lock right install

Does anyone have instructions on how to install a lockright, My third member howls bad and I have another good third to install it into.

Any help would be appreciated,

Don,
It's real easy. Just mark the bearing caps so you get them back in the same spot. I reset my backlash a little bit tighter. You basically pull out the spider gears and stick in the locker. Use locktight on all bolts.

Damit i just sent out a new lockright to a guy awk ago I new I should have copeid the instuctions and held on to them oh well it is int that hard Don I will look out in the garage tonight if I come up with the other copy i had i will send it to ya in an email

Actually it was Skip not addict who tightened up the backlash. Why? Backlash as it comes from the factory is set for quite running. When you start applying more torque you stand the possibility of the teeth climbing, which leeds to broken gears. I'm still within factory tolerance. I just made sure I was on the absolute tight side. I don't recommend you screw with this stuff unless you have experience. If you make mistakes here it can be costly. I like to think I know what I'm doing. Ooooooh, that's a scary thought [img]images/graemlins/40BEER.gif[/img]

Thanks Scott i'd sure rather have directions but if not i'll still do it probably monday.
Skip, I'll have the gray soft top white spoke wheels. Sure hope there's not much snow by then!
