1.6 adaptor plate draw

It's more expensive to send the plate in France than to buy it.
So can anybody send me the drawing of the plate (1:1 scale or quoted) to manufacture it here.
thx in advance

Re: 1.6 adaptor plate draw

Probably the only people that have a dimensional drawing of the adapter plate
are the manufacturers and I doubt if they'll give you this information.

Re: 1.6 adaptor plate draw

Hi one of our club members put a 1.6 into a 413 and I don't think he used any adaptor plate to fix it to the gearbox. If i remember he said he had to re-drill one hole and fitting the starter was interesting. I did not think the 1,6 went any better than the 1.3 but it use to drink the gas. All our club members who have done the conversion are not that impressed.

Re: 1.6 adaptor plate draw

Have a example of the plate for the 1.3 and the 1.6 engine that comes with each engine that mounts between the engine and the transmission. your using the 1.3 flywheel use the details for that from the 1.3 engine. Use thicker steel so you can use a counter sunk bolt head as seen in how to stories. Use transfer punches to locate bolt hole centers. Really easy project that doesn't require super tools. Just drills, resipicating saw with good bimetal metal cutting blade, some files and scrib to scratch marks into plate for cutting.
