Tire psi

I have a set of 31-10.50-15 Tsl Swampers and wanted to know how low I can safly air down for all around trail riding without lossing the bead. They are mounted on 15x7 rockcrawler wheels.
Thanks

Re: Tire psi

I have 30x11.5 super swampers and i ran about 7psi when I was in moab, i had 7 inch wide rims. The side wall on my tires are pretty strong, with how much weight a zuk is, you can usualy go pretty low. Just try diff. pressures and find out whats best for you.

Re: Tire psi

If you are talking Bias, I am not sure.
If you are talking the Radial, my bleeders are set at 4-4.5 PSI. The radial holds the bead very well.

Re: Tire psi

I would not go past 5 on a 31"tire and I'm sure you'll be ok with a 7" rim. That's your main advantage right now.

Re: Tire psi

Zero psi! I've seen Yankee Tim run a 33" swampers run his zuk with the valve stem cores pulled out. I have run my 31" General Grabber MT's down at 3 psi on a 7" wheel before. Most of the time I them between 5 & 8 psi.
