tire sizes front/rear

1. Are there any negative affects to the drivetrain (on a 4WD Sidekick) by runnning larger tires in the rear than the front? I've been able to get a hold of two 235/75R15 A/T's (28.8") that I want to run in the back matched up with 215/70R15's in the front (26.8"). I don't rock climb this vehicle...just some sand/mud/dirt roads occasionally....
2. Also, is there enough clearance in the rear for these tires? and would there be enough in the front to eventually put that size up there?
3. I also assume this would lower the highway speed RPM's, correct. I currently run 4200rpm's @ 70mph.

Thanks for any input!

Re: tire sizes front/rear

Check out an earlier post titled Tires by tt4. As for larger rear that would have to be personal preference.
