Re: transmision

You can swap a Auto in to the Zuk and put in a bigger engine.

Re: transmision

Actually ,
Supposedly there were a very limited number of Zuks that came over with auto trannies. I think 4 speed tranny, I'm not positive. There was discussion about this on a mailing list or this board before. I have never seen one before, but one guy said he saw one at a junkyard with an auto tranny in it, I said it musta been a swap, then a few people told me that Suzuki did have a few auto trannies imported, althouh it must have been very limited, I'm guessing like 4 or 5
I wouldn't even bother looking for a Samurai with an auto tranny, if you have to have an auto, then you may want to swap in a 1.6 along with a Suzuki 2wd auto transmission.
Good luck

Re: transmision

Was thinking about going with an auto in my sami too(bad knees). What would be the best setup? Don't really need or want a V6. I was thinking about a Toyota setup out of a 2wd with overdrive or a Sidekick or Tracker with auto overdrive.
Anyone done this?
