Alright, here is the story. I have had multiple zuks in the past. Have had some problems with trannys too. I have no shortage of spare trannys, but I am tired of messing with them. Need to swap a new one in soon, and after Tiftonia this weekend, I definately need a clutch too. The problem is, I bought a 95 tracker for the motor. It is a 2wd automatic. I have read somewhere that this is a better tranny than stock. Don't remember where I read this. I will have a 2 inch body lift soon, is this enough to clear the tranny, or will I need a 3 inch??? Since a stick tracker has 5:12 gears and a auto has 4:62, I think it is safe to assume that over all, the auto is geared lower for a final drive... Does anybody know the specs on one??? I know I will have to fabricate mounts, but will I have to modify the drive shaft? I want all the info I can get before I do it. I know about the tranny cooler, and shifter, just need these other things answered if anybody knows. She is my daily driver, so I can't have her down long.
