WHAT CHASSIS' CAN I FIT UNDER A SAMURAI BODY WITHOUT TOO MUCH MODIFICATION.THAT COULD HOLD A V-6 OR V-8 WITHOUT PUTTING A LIFT KIT.

Re: CHASSIS\' FOR SUZI?

oh man, good luck, just about the only thing that would fit but not match up would be old willy's flatfender frame (a jeep)
even then the dimensions are all wrong, and you would still have to worry about the clearance with the engine in the engine bay on thezuk
with out a lift, i just don't see it happening. not easy at least. (And yes I know my typing sucks. at work, not time to fix the spelling)
with out some kind of lift you just wouldn't have he clearance's to shove that big of a engine in there.
good luck hope you find a way to make it work cleanly, ugly is as ugly does, but its fun getting there..
enjoy, and good luck

Re: CHASSIS\' FOR SUZI?

The sami chassis will hold a V6 but without a lift you may have to modify the pan and oil pickup. Or maybe go with a dry sump remote oil system. The biggest problem with a V6 in a sami is balance. Unless you find some way to add weight to the rear you could have a BIG problem off road.
Just my $.02 worth.
Good luck.

Re: CHASSIS\' FOR SUZI?

I think last year at the Top Truck Challenge, there was a Zuk body mounted on a Jeep Wrangler frame. Don't know any details but it looked
OK from the pictures. I've given some thought to mounting a Samurai body on a short wheelbase Toyota truck chassis. That way I could get
some of those high pinion FJ80 differentials
