viberating rearend
A friend has a sammy with 513 trakker gears front and back the rear is welded and the front has a locker. The rear welding job was done extremly well. The problem he's having is that under a load its sounds as if something is thumping we havent opened it up yet to look around. You can travel down the road at any speed the second you clutch or let off the gas the noise and vibration stops.Has anyone got any clues.

Re: viberating rearend
This is probably a dumb question but, have you checked your "U" joints?
It sounds like a bad "U"joint or maybe you didn't get the driveshaft back together right. There should be a mark on the slipjoint to line them up if I remember correctly. C-Ya.....................kh |
Re: viberating rearend
driveshaft checks out ok and the u-joints also seem to be good.no slack but i guess thers a chance some of the needle bearings have come out.
