Re: I need a 1600cc crank

As of this afternoon, I may have an extra 1.6 crank. I'm rebuilding a 1.6 for installation in my sami, when after everything was cleaned up and checked out, the block is cracked between cyl 3 and 4. The crank from that motor was in very good shape, but you would have to supply bearings. I'll know later on today when I pick up my 2nd block and tear it down. email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Hey, If you get an extra 1600 (rebuildable) let me know, I have a friend looking for one. As for crank kits, you should be able to find a shop that will do one for you for around $120 or so with new bearings.

Re: I need a 1600cc crank

Sorry, no extra 1.6, unless you want the cracked block. The crack goes all the way from the head mating surface, through the bearing seat. If it is weldable, then it will be alot of work. All I'm planning on using from the second block is the block itself, so there may be an extra crank. I just need to tear it down and see if this new one is rebuildable.
