Re: Parting out Samis (plural)

Have a used white (OEM) and a black (Bestop). The white is a little better that the black. The black has kinda big cracks in one side and rear window. Anyhoot, they're FREE, just pay S&H. It will make room for more part as we are dissembling 2 sami's now with another on the way. whomever is first gets 'em if ya want 'em.

Re: Parting out Samis (plural)

I need two of each of the following Sami front axle parts:

brake calipers and mounts
hubs
spindles
brake disks
locking hubs

How much for these fine items and where are you located?

Thanks,
James Hiers

Re: Parting out Samis (plural)

Sorry for the delay. I'm an engineer by day and a Zuk freak by night and making a trailer custom-made from a wrecked sam has been eating up all my time.

As for the free tops, they will go in order to who responded first. I'll be getting the UPS shipping rate info today as well as buying/finding some boxes. I'll soon be emailing you the cost for the shipping and where to send a check.

As for the others who want parts, I'll be doing the same. My partner and I are currently looking at starting a good used parts company for Suzuki's (that's me) and CJ/Cherokee's (that's him). Hovever, New York requires auto salvage yards to be registered, which can take some time. There might be a loop hole, which is if we only mail-order/web-order out parts to states/countries other than New York (sorry neighbors). At least that will allow us to do something while we go through the legal mumbo.

Even still, I guess I could still sell some parts to my friends, eh? To let you know, calipers and such are in demand. I guess we could all thank Eddie C. for that good news. *giggle, giggle, snort*

Re: Parting out Samis (plural)

I've got an '86 I'm parting out in Penrose, CO; and can help you with these parts (the only one that's iffy is the rotors, this zuk has been sitting a long time and the brake rotors are rusty... I can check the thickness on them to see if they're turnable), I could provide a whole front axle assembly for $250 (complete with brakes), I'll do $175 for this list of parts ($150 if my rotors are unsalvageable)
