stock carb adjustment?

Is there any adjustment for the fuel mixture.My zuk is running so lean that I have to run with my choke almost closed.HELP it is costing too much in gas.

86 zuk w/2.8 ford

Could be the float that needs adjustment. For adjusting the fuel mixture you need to press out the adjusting screw pin from the carb. Then you can easily adjust it. Stock carbs are usually factory set. Good luck!

I have scanned pages of the stock carb diagram- let me know if you would like them emailed. I do not have a zip drive so they may be big (and therefore longish to download at slow connection speeds).
