Moving Front Axle Forward

I need to move my front axle forward to compensate for the shackle reversal. What is the best way to go about this?

my rig has no front bumper and the stock tubes have been trimmed back to the frame. I have a reversale with 3" national springs. I am planning a spoa t clear 33" tires and whant to move thngs forward to comensate for the reversale.

Thanks Butch

Re: Moving Front Axle Forward

The best way to do this is just redrill the Axle pads.

I just took off the springs and had a local spring shop redrill the springs to move the spring bolt forward an inch (cost $30). This method can weaken the springs but I have not had an issue with the stock springs (2 years now).

If I break them oh well wanted lifted springs anyway. Just remember to use a driveline spacer to make up the diffrence of moving the axle forward.
