drilling hiems for zerks safe?

I keep seeing guys saying to put zerk fittings on there hiem joints but jeeze is it realy safe to drill through the housing? seems like it would ake a incredible weak spot. Has anyone had failure do to drilling?

If you are familiar with the calmini 3 inch lift for Trackers/Sidekicks the top A-arm for the rear three point suspension uses a 'hemi' to adjust the pinion angle.

I dont know if I would do that you better off ordering the teflon lined Heims.

Pressume hiem are allso hemi's.
