Common t-case breakage?

Is breakage of this part common on these cases? It's the back of the front output shaft. It goes into a bearing on the main output shaft to support the shaft in a second place.
I'm guessing the front ouput flange was hit hard to cause breakage like this.

It happened to me a few years ago. Check your front drive shaft, you may not have enough spline for your suspension travel. That's what happened to me.
