Anyone got Tracker pics?

I've been thinking about grabbing a tracker instead of a Samurai and putting a straight axle under her. Problem is I don't know the drivetrain differences between the two rigs, so I was hoping someone woudl be able to post some pics of what it looks liek underneath.
I was thinking about grabbing since it already has a 1600. I woudl probably swap out the axles for Toyota ones.

Also, is the transfer case divorced like on a Samurai? I notice that no one makes gears as low as Calmini's 5.8:1 gears for them, so I was wondering if you can swap a Samurai case underneath it (if the tracker/sidekick one is divorced).

Anyone got some sic buildup pics of the Sidekick?

I appreciate it!

Re: Anyone got Tracker pics?

After doing some searches on the web and talking to people, here is what I want to go with:

Sidekick 1600 & tranny, mated to the Spidertrax Thorax gear splitter and then connected to a Samurai t-case. I will run Toyota axles & a modified version of RRO's Coil suspension.

I think I will be fine as far as space goes . . . what do you think?

Anyone got a pic of how the steering setup works on a Sidekick? I want to see how it will work with a Straight axle up front.

Re: Anyone got Tracker pics?

Shouldn't be too hard to run the stock steering box with a SAS conversion..

I run a Tracker steering box in my samurai..

check out Sky, they make a hysteer conversion for the samurai with a Suzuki box and toyota axles.
