EFI tank on non-EFI zuk?

I will install a 1600 16V next summer, and i will need a high presure fuel pump.

in the junkyard nearby me, there's a EFI tank with the pump inside, can i install it now (with my non EFI motor i have today) and let the pump unplugged for the moment?

thx
