Which one is easier to Tow Bar

I am looking at Getting a Suzuki SIdekick(tracker, sunrunner, etc) or a Samurai, if i can find one. But is there one that is easier to Towbar. Are all the Tansmissions in the Suzuki's towable?

Re: Which one is easier to Tow Bar

howdy,
both are totally tow bar ready, yet the sidekick has the fancy bumper cover and the sammi front bumper is paper thin metal. i'll tell ya sammi, but i have a sammi. and the sidekick guys will tell ya sidekick. so it all comes down to you.

are you thinking of doing a lift on either vehicle? or is this just going to be a camp runner?

Re: Which one is easier to Tow Bar

eventually it will probably get a lift, nothing major, I don't think i would ever go any bigger than 31's. But it will be a budget type toy to clown around with off-road, so i don't care about removing or cutting the plastic bumper covers.

Re: Which one is easier to Tow Bar

i towbar'd my zuk with spoa and 30" tires over 1200 miles last summer and had no problems....just make sure when you put the bar on either vehicle that it its perfectly straight and not off to one side otherwise it will tow funny.....i pulled mine with an F250 ext cab and i barely knew it was back there....
