1.3 non-interference eng??

Sounds like a dumb question but I need to know if the 1.3 is a freewheeling engine. You know the non-interference kind where IF the timing belt busts the entire valve train is able to spin freely without hitting the pistons (or anything else for that matter) thereby causing no ill-effects on the engine.

TIA

Re: 1.3 non-interference eng??

Just to clarify, I want to know also, if the valves are at maximum extention with a stock cam and stock lower end, with the piston at tdc, will the valves interfear with the pistons?
