Super Swamper LTB

Can anyone who has first hand knowledge of the Swamper LTB series biased ply tires tell me how they perform on and offroad? They look like they would be good in the mud, but I'd like to know how they handle on pavement also. Thanks.

Re: Super Swamper LTB

I've got some 34x10.5's on mine now. They handle about the same as the TSL's that I had on before that. They are not the most quiet of tire, but that's to be expected with an aggressive tread pattern.

I'm still waiting to regear the axles (3rd's sitting in the garage, just haven't had time) so I haven't taken it off-road with them yet.

The 33X13.00 LTB is not as tall as the 33X12.50 TSL
Go to the Interco website and take a look

Re: Super Swamper LTB

My buddy Adam Leach just got a set of 33x13.50 LTBs for his Samurai. He'll be writing a full product review of the tires after he's had enough testing of them to really get a good feeling for their performance, but here are his initial impressions: Off road, they're awesome. On road, they're definitely bias ply tires. They're hard and noisy, but very grippy. And they flat-spot. Hopefully we'll get a chance to compare them directly against my 33x14.50 Swamper SSRs this Spring.

Re: Super Swamper LTB

A few of my local friends/customers have them. No negative things to say about them. They are very good tires for the money...grip good on and off-road and not any noisier than the typical swamper. The rubber seems to be a softer compound than the SX's I run, but on a Zuk they would still last a long time.

Re: Super Swamper LTB

A few friends have run them for a lot of years, and I am impressed with them overall. I would highly recommend a set to anyone.
