Electric Fuel Pump? Which one?

Need an electric fuel pump for my weber on an 86 Sammi. What should I be asking for when I go to the auto store?
So i know Im getting the right pump. I know where and how to do the install, just need to know what pump to ask for.
TIA

Re: Electric Fuel Pump? Which one?

You have two choices... the high pressure pumps are for fuel injected motors and the low pressure (1-4 psi?) is for the carb'd application.
When I got mine from Advance Auto, they had only 1 brand in hi or low pressure.

I have a Carter P4070 electric pump and I'm very pleased with it. Jeg's had the best price, about $55......

Re: Electric Fuel Pump? Which one?

Just in case anyone needs to know, the pump needs to be rated at 5-7psi, but less than 10psi to work with almost any regulator . The ones that I've been using are from Auto Zone (not exactly my fav parts store), and cost about $40. I think maybe Motormite brand , if I remember correctly .
