GV V6 in a Samurai - Anyone done it?

Has anyone tried to stuff a Grand Vitara V6 into a Samurai? The reason I ask is I found one for cheap and I'm curious what this install might need to work.

Just thought I'd ask....

Re: GV V6 in a Samurai - Anyone done it?

sun 62 has the motor tranny and transfercase from the lx7 in there but it is only setting on temp mounts the one thought is the drivelines are a slip yoke on the front and rear of the t case and it used a 2 piece rear driveline so the issue of the splines not alowing for the slip needed has come up sinse the old ones only needed to take up flex of the frame and such the thought has been to use the slipyoke bolted to the output shafts making a fixed yoke but then the u joints may not handle the angles

Make fixed flanges for the t-case and go with custom driveshafts.
