1.3 Crankshaft pulley

Quik question, the search didn't find any thing of relation, on my 1..3's crankshaft V blet pulley. are the threads to the large center bolt regular thread of left hand thread? also, should i bind the driveline up to take it off, or do you guys have better luck pulling the grill/radiator and impacting it?
thanks!
Zach

My plan is to swap to a double V pulley off of our spray samari to use it to mount my saganaw power steering pump for my full hysdraulic steering.

Re: 1.3 Crankshaft pulley

regular threads and those 10mm bolts wil break real easy so i would not use a impact must the time you can just grap the pulley and break them loose YOU dont have to take the LARGE bolt out . looks like it but it doesn not just the small 4 bolts

Re: 1.3 Crankshaft pulley

Impact is the best way to go, in my opinion. If im not mistaken the threads are normal-righty tighty lefty loosey!
Go with the impact, much easier. Remember, work smarter, not harder!
