Re: Florida Suzuki club ?????

ANother Tampa guy checking in.

If you don't have a plate in Ocala, you aren't supposed to drive on the numbered roads. More of a problem with ATVs and Motorcycles than trucks.

Re: Florida Suzuki club ?????

You have the correct address there Reddus kneckus .
With the # of ppl that are going to be there and the hardcore pro 4x4 activists (sp?)
I'd say running w/o a plate would be a no no..
I've seen some OBVIOUSLY NOT street legal trucks with plates on them, I dunno...

Re: Florida Suzuki club ?????

Lots of fun, flarking COLD (teens!! and windy!). The locked samurai performed very well. Lots of very very nice jeeps, one samurai on 40" ground hawgs, 1 samurai on 29 tsl raidals, and one on 31" swampers. My samurai walked up everything (except for the log obstacle, blasted axles, I was high centered on everything! , the 36" swampers rolled right through) and I'm very happy with the performance... The guy on the 40" hawgs had a spring over, 2" blocks, yoter axles, cv joint in the rear, custom shaft up front, notched crossmember, transfer case was moved more to the drivers side, 2~3" springs (OME) and a 1~3" body lift. He blew a bierfield after about 2 minutes on the trail! DOOOOWWWWHHH!!!!! He's looking on going to the longfields to prevent that.. that thing was huge! ahah my windshield came up to the bottom of the hood!
I broke my light bar (blasted trees that jumped out in front of me! ), made a new dent, and realised I REALLY need a track bar. I'm worried about that rear hopping around like it would when I'd get on'er in the loose sand in 2wd.
2wd low ROCKS! I've got 10 forward gears and 2 reverse! Low is really low 2nd is good, 3rd is nice for sand, and 4th is nice for when I'm cooking in sand..
I love my samurai

Re: Florida Suzuki club ?????

Just 4 total including mine.
Every year, MLK weekend is one of the quarterly FL4WDA association meetings.
I'm not sure when/where the next one is.
