Such a deal!!! (long)

Okay, my friend with the slipping automatic 92 Tracker decided to sell it rather than fix it and ship to the mainland. The good news, for me (my Dad actually), was he got in a hurry and had to sell ASAP. Dad got the Tracker in beautiful shape (minus the tranny and AC) for $500. We did the math and for under $5k we can have the thing with all new tranny, AC, engine hop ups, suspension/tires, AND eventual shipping back to the mainland. Dad was planning on getting a 4-wheeler when he got back to Texas. Now he'll have something with way more ability for the same, even less, money.

Just braggin a bit. My buddy had no problems selling so cheap so no guilt there even. He took great care of it, totally stock, no offroading. He made a point of telling us anything he thought was wrong. We're looking forward to building it up. Look out for more questions!

Re: Such a deal!!! (long)

I got my tracker for $200 with a "bad" tranny. It just had a bad gasket - put a new one on and some fluid and it runs great. Just sold it for $2700 to fund my 1.6 16V and chevette auto swap.
