Cheap 1.6L 16V near washington?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a place in or near washington that would sell a 1.6 16V for less than $800. That seems to be the going rate around here.

If it has a respectful mileage and if you could sweet talk them into giving everything you need ie: header pipe, air filter box, alt., starter, wire harness, ecm, and anything else you can get for that price I'd take it and run.

I searched several yards before I found mine that I scored for $650 for everthing plus kick p/s, but the highest I was quoted for one was $2500. I don't know what he was smokin' but it must have been some pretty good sh!t.

$2500? You can get a brand new one for that. I would go for $500 or $700 for everything (ecm, harness, etc). It would almost be cheaper to buy the whole damn car!

Well it probably would be cheaper to buy the whole thing and part it out on ebay.
