Zuki not running problem???

Dopey's Zuki has gone through some problems lately. Some may remember him from the Mud Mash with the blown motor.Since that time we have put another motor in out of the tin top that Billy Bob brought. At first we could not get it to run.(missing vacume line was the culprit on that)Now when it is cold it will start and run.Checked the timing then and it was 12 degrees off.I was told that was fine.We have checked the fuel pump, vacume lines, air cleaner, plugs and plug wires they all seem o.k.The deal is when it warms up it will die and occasionally restart for about 3 to 15 seconds.Starts without no go peddle, with the go peddle it will not start at all.We just can't keep the darn thing running.Anyone have any clues?I can give more info if you need it. We hope to have it running for a run on the 29th but we are in need of help.

Re: Zuki not running problem???

sometimes it can be the fuel filter. what happens is after a while it will stop up, then after it sits for a little bit the trash will settle enough for it to start agian until it clogs up again and dies. it's a long shot but maybe this will help.

Re: Zuki not running problem???

I did a couple of searches, "warms up", "not running", and so on. It could be one of 100 different stupid little things, like choke not working right or oxygen sensor crappin' out. I know this doesn't help right now, but if you search through some old posts, there must be something you haven't tried that someone else has. This seems to be a common problem.
