hey guys, i have been following this board for about the last 6 or 7 months now due to my current zuk project. I have posted once in a great while over here.
Right now im in the process of building a 92 bronco(will it ever end?) then i also have my 88.5 samari im been working on for the last 6 months, and finanly started to wheel it this last month.
I'm the Moderator for the Ford Forums over there where very few of you stray.
Im pretty used to the Zuks. We currently have 3. 2 are used for farm utility work, then the last is the wheeler.
the 88.5 wheeler is just a SPOA, with a custom welded in steering correction, with sheet metal bashed and cut out to fit the larger than average 33" TSLs. the rear diff is weelded, the front was welded, but after the last weekend, its kinda open again.
header on the 1.3
custom sliders that tie in the cage to the frame
Then theres the ugly duckling exo cage that i fabbed up that has survived 3 rolls so far. Found that the motor needs to be chained down to keep from breaking its mounts.
The biggest mod has been the two t case mod that i home brewed up about 2 months ago. lots of time and screwing around, and its working very well for cheap.
I'm all up for the cheap mods on my zuk since i hardly have any cash into it. next future mod is axles.
I live in the south burbs of chicago IL, and im frequently at the badlands with one of the rigs.
here are the pics
and one link becuase this pic is rather big.
seeya you guys, and hope to join in on more of your posts.
