Need help with EFI fuel lines

What should I use for fuel lines? I just swapped in a TBI system from a 90 Sammi, and the stock lines are low pressure. Can I just use steel tubing, bend it to fit and join it to the rubber lines at throttle body and tank? I also need a different fuel filter. I would like to get one that doesn't use threaded fittings, is there one? This is the last step in the conversion, can't wait to try to start it up!!! What trouble codes will show up?????? (hopefully none!) Colin.
