OT help me ID this material?

Hey..there's some pretty smart guys on this board, maybe you can help me out with something. Take a look at this product listing. read the description. What are those bodies made of, exactly?

I've seen these at the local store, they're plastic. And the decals say, "shocks", "carb", or "lifter" or some such silly thing. The cars might be fun on a hard floor though!

howdy,
some kind of funny space aged polimer they call plastic. must be made in some far away country, or they have found this material in space. i think its something them alliens brung down here from a far away planet.

i think everyone should have one of those!!! you would be suprized how fast you can make them! i an fixing to get a 38000 rpm motor for mine and run 2 batteries!! they are lots of fun.....and cheap too!!!!!

too funny...I just ordered the WRX this morning...I was ordering a full exhaust system for my Blazer, and needed to get over $150 to get 1/2 off shipping...
