its like 22 gauge. use the thinest wire you can (.023") and set your voltage to "1" and put your wire speed way down otherwise you WILL blow though. i have basically the same welder. weldpro 100 i think.

Popular welder because I have the same. I welded up my half doors and set mine on setting A and speed was about 1.5. I used the metal I had cut away as a fine tuner. Ran several beads with it to make sure I had it right. Remember that if it gets to hot that stuff melts like butter. I suggest a little spot then move down so that cools before going back to that location. This helps on warpping as well. Theres pics on my website

very cool doors...

Have the same welder. I've also got the gas conversion kit but haven't set it up yet.

Go slow, do only a small spot at a time, and let it cool down. Practice on scrap pieces until you have the settings and technique down...

The gas conversion will give cleaner welds, but keep in mind, the flux core wire will
run hotter and give better penitration. For thin SM body work it would be a good
thing to have though.

howdy,
i got my bed weld on pretty much. used .030 wire. ran speed at 3.5 and at load range c. hooked up the gas kit before i started and this welder with the sheilding gas runs better beads than my works mig. i must say that for the money i spent on this welder i am total happy. now i want to buy one of those skull welding helmits. anyone know where to buy one?

Saw some at tractor supply just this weekend. Had monster heads and bulldog faces as well. They are flip up lenses and not the auto darkening type.
