Hopefully the last detail.. 97 swap, brakes weak

Everything's done but I have manual brakes! The brake light in the cab stays on, the fluid level is fine, but when I step on the pedal, it feels like the engine is off and the brake is primed = stiff pedal at the top and weak stopping power. I did have to splice the two wires from the cap of the existing reservour to the two wires that went underneath the reservour on the tracker. I did a 1" body lift. Please tell me that I don't have to swap the master cylinders too!

I had hoped tightening the four clamps that connect the two hoses between the engine and the master cylinder was the answer. It was not. They do not appear kinked. I do not have a bottle of propane for the vaccuum test... The car idles fine, though.

This is the last detail (I hope) before I can be inspected. Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

take off the line from the brake booster to the intake and make sure you are getting vaccum. i am willing to give you an extra hand whenever you are ready! it sounds like you aren't getting enough vaccum to the booster or the booster isn't holding vaccum.
