Wher do I get AUTO HUBS!!??

I'm sold on the auto hub idea, but where do they come from? Does the auto hub fairy come and grant them to you? I will keep my manuals as backup (10mins. to change), but I am a wild hair person. If'n I want to go that way, I go. It ruins my groove to have to get out and lock the hubs(OK, So i'm a little lazy). Where do these gems come from and where can I buy them?

Look through your local junkyards for loaded Tracker's and Sidekick's....that's where the "hub fairy" is!
They bolt right on.

I've already promised the auto-hubs I took off my sidekick to somebody else.

Sorry.

How do they work? Does the Sammy need aditional modification for them to work. I've never had a truck with auto hubs before.

Re: Wher do I get AUTO HUBS!!??

What I am understanding here is that the auto hubs from a tracker or a sidekick will fit without modification? If'n that's the case I know they are plentiful. Please someone tell me this is correct, because I'm going out on saturday "junkyardin'". I want to find a set of leather/heated seats for the zuk, and if what you say is true I will also look for some auto hubs at the same time!

Re: Wher do I get AUTO HUBS!!??

howdy,
when you junkyard hoppen, remember to take a big toolbox with a false bottom LOL ok maybe not a good idea, but it's worth the fine sometimes. but what is the problem with drive all around with the hubs locked in? ok maybe if you can't get them to come out of the locking point like me, but some day i would like this hub fairy you talk about to drop some warn hubs off at my garage. if you see her send her my way.
oh and yes the kick/tracker auto hubs are straight bolt ons. i tried it but it made me ? if they were locked or not.
