Re: Another use for your winch

Looks like a hunting stand. I've seen alot of things like that since I've been visiting TX(military orders). I've also seen some CRAZY rigs that are 4X4 and have a tall perch(about 8-10ft) with a steering wheel and bench seat. I drive to my brothers in San Angelo from here(Lackland AFB) every weekend, and I always see a new setup. Y'all are REALLY crazy about huntin' here!!!

Yeah driving down the interstate during deer season here brings all sorts of bizzare sights being pulled behind pickups.

howdy,
now that is using some brain power. good work, now see if you can shoot the winch out the get the deer. because there is nothing worse than have to hike after a deer once you have shoot it. this year my first deer was a buck that hiked 2 miles before he droped. i wish it was gun season, but bow season is still great.

Re: Another use for your winch

I used mine to move my camper.
One of the jack's ripped out and the other side was half ripped out.
It was setting at an angle in the driveway.
So I put it on wood poles (skid's), put a 4X4 on the other side.
Ran the cable through the doors to access the bed area.
Hooked the cable around the 4X4, worked great.

Re: Another use for your winch

That's a good one! I'll be using mine to pull out trees I cut down on my property, as well as using it to control where they fall, in tight places.
