soft top window replacement?

Has anyone ever replaced windows in a soft top? I need to know if it can be done and the approx price to do it. the top is the fastback top, and the windows have turned white. The top is only about 1.5 years old. A friend of mine owns it. Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: soft top window replacement?

I would think a marine ahpolstery or automotive trim shop could handle that ,but cost wise maybe better to just replace the top.Cut the windows out of the old one to use in the summer.

I replaced mine and it look/worked great. the cost wasn't really an issue because I have an "in" in the ahpolstery business

Re: soft top window replacement?

Hi Roy,

Can't saythat I've heard of replacing windows in a soft top but have clear off someugly ones before. I have used a product called plastic polish by Blu Magic. It does a pretty good job of clearing alot of mess of plastic windows.
It only costs a couple of bucks at Wal-mart. It recommends ya follow it up with Blue Magic metal polish. Maguier's also has a similar product that can be gotten at Wal-mart as well.
