Getting yet ANOTHER Sammy tin top

Yes this will make four hard top 86 to 87 Sammys, one 88.5 soft top, one 87 softop, a 96 Tracker (in pieces), & and a 92 Tracker that is supposed to be sold.
Did I NEED another one?? No. Just got a lead on the little bugger so I figured I'd follow up on it. Had a hard time getting a hold of the owner but it was worth it.
1987 Suzuki Samurai JX Hard top model. All stock except a really strange sunvisor & those plastic window rain guards.
70k miles. Air conditioning. entire vehicle like new except for a tiny tear in side of driver's seat, rust behind fender flares & rocker plastic things, & sticking brake caliper.
This thing is one of the best ones I've seen (I've seen a lot!) NEVER BEEN OFF ROAD!!
The price I paid you ask?.......$200
Who da man? I'm da man! Like stealing candy from a baby!

WTF did you step in ?..It must have been something good....$200?...damn....Can't find anything that cheap around here no matter what shape it's in...I always here those Maine stories about "finding it in a barn"......GRRRRRRRRR....Friend of mine got a nice old chevelle like that one time,he was cleaning out some ladies garage or something and I guess the car was someone in her familys that past away or something, anyway he just about stole the thing. Great deal WB. It is so hard to look away when you see these. My and lil Jim were headin up to a hayride the other night and saw a ST with no plates kinda sitting in some tall grass next to a garage. Had all I could do to look away. May actually head back up to where I saw it. Alan check this out. http://www.izook.com/tech/techprojve.../jbproject.htm. Bought it in Milford for $300. Keep looking. They are out there. Jim

Re: Getting yet ANOTHER Sammy tin top

OK talk about counting your hens before they hatch
I went to go buy that Zook & called the guy first & I'm like that was $200 right? He's like NO, $2000. I'm like OK I guess I'm all set, good luck! The other day when I talked to him he acted like the thing was useless to him & it's been for sale for-EVER so when he said "I've gotta get two fer it." I thought that he ment $200. Oh well who cares I've got a bunch of Zooks already. I think he may have MEANT $200 at first but changed his mind perhaps.
