Kayline Top pieces SHRANK?!?!?

I bought some used Kayline top pieces (tonneu cover, bikini top and windjammer) and went to put them on and they are too small! I'm not talking too small by a little either. These pieces have shrunk by about 2 inches!!!! Anything I can do to get them to fit? I thought about putting them in the dryer for a little bit.

In the dryer? I'd think getting them wet and then stretching them in place

Re: Kayline Top pieces SHRANK?!?!?

I dont think mine(bikini, jammer, tonneu) are kayline or if it matters, but I live at 9,000 feet. If I dont leave them(especially the tonneu) out in the sun all day on a warm day, then there is no way I can get them on.

The drier idea is a good one, my only concern would be the window on the jammer getting damaged.

I would probably try putting it in an oven set to WARM and keep checking it to make sure it doesnt get too hot.

Another option is to warm them up (don't melt them)
Then while installing them use a high powered blow dryer (industrial heat gun).
Use that while streching into place.
I have to leave my Kayline out in the sun to get it on also.

Steelhourse top is 2inches from snapping in all around the body . I tried throwing it in the dryer I think if it was in a heated garage when I pulled it out it might have worked ...and the plastic windows dont get damaged they become very flexable
